Ever since i started this hobby, getting as much performance out of my Windows install as possible, people always asked me is it really worth it?
And “what are the differences”?
Info:
– right click “open image in new tab” if a picture is unclear
– skip to 4. FINAL COMPARISONS if you don’t care about the details
Lets start by showcasing a:
1. Normal Windows install (no OC)

One is going to be for the average user that kind of cares about their Windows install and with the other user i tried to go all out with the bloatware that is typically installed (RGB / mouse software / motherboard driver + packages ect)
A. CPU-Z B. CINEBENCH R23

2. My Personal Optimized Windows (no OC)

3. My Personal Optimized Windows (With OC)

C. MW2019 FHD
4. FINAL COMPARISONS

E. MW2019 Specific spot FPS FHD F. MW2019 Specific spot FPS 1440P
G. MW2019 FHD Results H. MW2019 WQHD Results
5.CONCLUSION
There is a huge amount of performance to be gained over the stock Windows.
Not only in average FPS but ESPECIALLY in the lows. It really is insane how much the lows improve.
Keep in mind this was on a “High End” chip, 13700KF. Now imagine all the bloat on a CPU with less cores / threads / no E-cores.
Shoutout to all people who think “OpTiMiZinG” is fake, have a good day.
